Located in beautiful Santa Rosa Valley, California, Taycan Farms is a full-care specialty boarding facility focused on mares, foals, young horses, retired horses, and senior horses. We believe horses thrive when they are able to live naturally, with companionship, movement, and the freedom to express normal herd behaviors.

Our shared pasture boarding program is designed to match horses with others who have similar needs and temperaments. With years of experience introducing horses to herd living, we have successfully integrated horses of all backgrounds into group settings. Whether your horse is transitioning from stall life, retiring from competition, or simply ready for a more natural lifestyle, we can help them become part of a safe and compatible herd.

For horses that are no longer in active training or work, pasture living provides valuable physical exercise, mental stimulation, and social interaction. We also love supporting mares and young horses by giving foals and growing horses the opportunity to develop alongside others their age, learning important social skills through play and companionship.
